They went to visit Jean Greyerl... she was studying medicine now, and the teacher, mailer, and librarian were there with her...
Another episode showed Barnham talking to Rouge about how he met Constantine, who happened to be the pup of the dog he injured when he lost control of his horse.
Then Espella talked about the upcoming Fire Festival, and the Miss Bezella contest... The Vigilantes showed up and reintroduced themselves..
Then a bunch of other villagers talked about a couple of suspicious characters out in the woods. It turned out to be the judge and Wordsmith, having a philosophical conversation... the judge then admits he doesn't have any idea what Wordsmith is talking about. They bring up the subject of hint coins, and Wordsmith admits that he always reads the super hint. The judge declares him guilty, Layton says "to each his own..."
The 2nd last special episode...
"I object to objectionable puzzles!"
Layton: "You did not disappoint me, Mr. Edgeworth."
... out of nowhere, Edgeworth shows up in Labyrinthia during the Fire Festival.
"Mr. Layton, you are a worthy opponent."
Phoenix just goes ahead and says it: "Edgeworth... What the heck are you doing here?"
He's here because of Labrelum's "Drugs & Flames" competition. He had "a certain scruffy assistant" help him win a trip to Labyrinthia.
Phoenix introduces Edgeworth to Espella, and Edgeworth chimes in and adds that he doesn't like being called a "prodigy".. everyone except Maya agrees that they themselves wouldn't like being called that either. Luke then says he doesn't like being called a little kid.
Apparently, the Fire Festival is when people speak their mind...
Finally, the last special episode. Back at Layton's office, they talk about the game's development, how it was kind of weird at first, and they had to adjust the sizes of the Layton and AA characters so they fit together in the same world, etc... and one last puzzle to conclude the game.
