|Episode 11 - Nanachi|
So that flowers my bloom with innumerable deaths providing their nourishment, there are countless tragedies buried at the bottom of this beautiful world. But unless you are one of those directly concerned, this is not something you can know. You should simply be captivated by the dazzling beauty and push on, treading firmly on the ground below. For your tragedy too, is sure to become sustenance and give birth to the blooming of new flowers...[/quote]
Nanachi has a bunch of cave raiding equipment and blue/black whistles in her house... she's probably collecting these from the people that died around here.
She explains to Regu that she's been spying on them and listening to them ever since they came to Goblet of Giants. She wasn't intending to show herself until she started taking pity on them. She introduces her roomate, another hollow who turned into a monstrosity due to the curse of ascending from the 6th layer.
and apparently a hollow is what humans turn into from the curse down there... cave raiders put hollows to death immediately when they see them... so that's why she has all those whistles.
I am living proof that it's possible to return from the 6th layer while retaining your humanity.
Nanachi sends Regu off to hunt for more medicine to help save Riko... and now we find out she has some connection to the white whistle Riko is carrying.
Some of the stuff Regu got was food for Nanachi, since she's too busy looking after Riko to get food for herself. She ties some mushrooms to Riko's arm, then gets Regu to clean Riko's dirty clothes... and he stops by a flowery field that I think is actually Lyza's grave? he sees Lyza's weapon there in the field, and some crystal device in his hand... then Nanachi comes and snaps him out of his memory flashback.
I guess this place just looks similar to the place in Regu's memory.
