|World 1 cleanup|
I already have no idea where to get the 2nd shard in 1-1. Used a guide to figure out you need to use bombs on the black platform sticking up out of the water... okay that's fair, it is kinda out of place.
For 1-3... now that I know how these color coded breakable tiles work, it's obvious that I need to combine Cutter with something that can destroy the green floor below me. The only thing I can think of is double-cutter.
World 2 cleanup
2-1 is the first instance of a two-colored breakable tile. Yellow and brown... I can get the Shock ability in this level, but for Stone you actually need to go to a different level to get it and beat the level with solo Stone in order to bring it into 2-1, since there's no way to exit from levels in this game for some reason...
Wow, this is a power combo I actually haven't tried yet. It's like an electrical powered boulder yoyo that bounces around the room, and you can instantly make it disappear and throw another one in front of you any time. This is a broken tier power for sure.
er... actually that's not true. I just realized those brown enemies that jump in place give you Stone power, so actually you don't need to go to another level for this.
2-3... easy, just a brown colored tile. Although I think in this case you DO have to get Stone from somewhere else.
2-4... I needed to use a guide to figure this one out. There's actually yet ANOTHER power combo I hadn't tried yet. Shock + Bomb... it turns Kirby into a lightbulb, and that lets you see Adeleine's solution for the buttons that you need to press in the next room.
(2-4 was the first screenshot I took today after doing the minigames. then I had to go back and get a screenshot of the electric+rock power cuz I forgot a part of the setup earlier).
World 3 cleanup
While playing through this world again, I just found out you can hold non-power enemies above your head and use their movement mechanics. Holding a flying enemy gives you a flying ability that doesn't require using Kirby's air puff, and holding a parasol enemy lets you float with the parasol...
3-1 had a blue+black tiled thing that can only be destroyed by the freeze+bomb combo. This was an excuse to use the snowman power more which I hadn't used much. it's okay...
3-2 had a red+brown tiled thing that needed the volcano power. This attack can actually be aimed around anywhere within 180 degrees, so it's not that bad.
3-3... I thought this just needed cutter or double cutter, but no apparently not.. could it be the shape of the textures on here that are hinting at what you combine cutter with? Just checked a guide to figure out it's a bomb+cutter wall, wtf I don't see the black there at all. There IS a bomb fish in this level, so it doesn't require going to another level to get the bomb power.
And then I also needed a guide for the other shard that I missed in this level. You need the stone+cutter power to get through the wall, easy enough, but then I couldn't figure out how to fly up high enough to grab the shard. Even when you transform into Pitch and use up both flight options to their max capacity it's still not enough... Then I checked a guide to figure out that using the stone Rick lets you wall jump. I have no idea how you were supposed to figure this out.
3-4... the stone+cutter power is extremely useful for exploring this level, which is entirely underwater and mostly with currents that you can't fight against... unless you transform into one of the stone animal buddies. except for Kine. stone Kine can't swim and is completely useless. all of the other stone animals can move, but all of them are so slow that it's not worth using them and I always just prefer to keep transforming until I get Pitch.
