|Episode 9 - Sakura's Thrilling Aquarium Visit|
Before Sakura goes out on her date with Syaoran, she's talking to Yue over the phone about the new Clear Cards and the fact that all of her old cards are still transparent, she says it's not like anything terrible has happened yet... Yue comments on how this is similar to when Sakura was capturing the Clow Cards.
Kero explains to Yue that him and Tomoyo agreed not to follow Sakura on her date. Even though Tomoyo really, really wants to, she decided it's better to give them some alone time. (The old Tomoyo probably would've still gone in secret I bet).
Sakura is so happy while heading to the bus stop to meet Syaoran, she's literally leaving magic dust in her steps as she hops along.
This is the same aquarium that she went to with Yukito before. During the penguin show, Sakura tells Syaoran about how she found the Watery card here. Also Syaoran can speak English now and helps out some foreign couple.
Touya is filling in for a butler here again... He still acts really weird around Syaoran. He doesn't even talk to him after seeing him here for the first time in a long while (I think)... Syaoran realizes he didn't say anything to Touya either, and apologizes to Sakura.
Syaoran is about to ask Sakura to go out on another date later, and then suddenly the giant glass tube in the middle of the aquarium cracks open and floods the place. Sakura is being held by some current just like when Watery attacked... Touya has to swim underwater to get to the manual switch to open the emergency drainage system.
Later, Sakura tells Tomoyo about this incident on the phone... and then is like "But more importantly, the boxed lunch I worked so hard on got ruined!"
Just like last time, Tomoyo shows up at the aquarium with her bodyguards to make Sakura put on an updated version of that water costume. She also made Syaoran an updated version of his old green outfit.
Sakura uses the Lucid card to hide everyone from the security guards... Finds out this thing isn't actually a water demon, but a giant chain thing... Uses Gravitation and Flight to run away from it as it chases her, and Gale to avoid the shards of glass as she goes through the ceiling and leads it outside... Syaoran is trying his best to help out but can barely keep up... He asks Kero (who also is never much of a help these days) about what method Sakura used to capture Watery...
Now that he knows what Watery's weakness was, he actually has something he can do.
Ice god, come forth! He freezes the thing in place so that Sakura can capture it... the Spiral card.
So Syaoran is now officially more useful than Kero and Yue.
