I'm kinda bummed that this game doesn't have any 3D effects, like all the other 3DS Layton games did but I guess they just gave up on 3D now that the 3DS is losing popularity.
So, even though this game is divided up into cases, you can still go back to previous cases and explore for any puzzles and coins that you missed.
This puzzle about the ages of siblings actually got me. It was kinda tricky to work it out in my mind and needed to actually graph it out.
This case is about a murder and suicide that seem deliberately set up to be just like the legend that the Riverside Festival is about...
It seems a bit longer than the previous case. There's this new investigator character that is acting like Katrielle's rival... and there's also another character that looks a lot like her (but friendlier) who is working as the mayor's attendant...
I'm actually liking the art in these puzzles a lot, despite it not having 3D effects.
The solution to this case starts to become obvious after you get the 3rd clue... the mayor set it all up in order to get people to pay attention to the festival, and nobody was actually killed.
