I guess I'm back inside the giant tower now? I dunno what's going on... there's a bunch of spooky spectator ghost people... and the "yell" button makes the kid sing and lights up parts of the floor.
Woah, this part is cool... I left the tower and came out into this desert like area... and some giant bird comes and steals the orb I needed for a puzzle, and now I'm constantly running away from this giant bird and I can't stay out in the open for too long or I'll get captured.
The whole theme of this 2nd world is that you have to go and pull out some darkness seal thing to make thunderclouds appear in the sky, preventing the bird from being able to search for you and making the area much more explorable. When it's bright outside, it's a linear section where you can only go to the nearest indoor areas and then you go through some climbing/puzzle obstacle sections until you get to the little tower where you unseal the dark clouds... and then it turns into a non-linear area where you can freely explore.
I found some hidden collectables, and by the number of them I can sort of tell how long the game must be. I'm kinda really into this now and I'm excited to play more of it. The fox is showing you where to go again, and it leads to another daylight section where you have to continue hiding from the bird until you find another dark cloud sealing tower. Also you can still see that giant tower in the distance that this world started from. I don't think it's possible to go back to previous worlds so I've probably missed a couple of collectables already... but I don't care, I think I'll want to replay this on the PC with better framerate eventually.
There's some really tricky puzzle rooms here...
Now I have 2 of the 3 tower sections covered in dark clouds... it took me a while to find how to get to the 3rd section, because of how I ignored the fox and wandered off... then I found this underwater path, where these shadow people were saying something, it sounded like "don't you dare go there"... that was really creepy... I wasn't expecting having to swim underwater through the ocean to avoid the bird... there's a bunch of air bubbles that kinda guide you towards the underwater entrance to the tower.
That 3rd dark cloud sealing tower section was really fun.
Next it becomes a bit non-linear again, but it doesn't take long to find the fox and get guided on a path climbing back up to that place where I first got attacked by the giant bird.
Back in the giant tower... I guess I'm going further up the tower now... and it seems to be transitioning to a forest sort of area... and the transition scene this time is on a boat.
