|Episode 4: Turnabout Succession - Trial part 1 recap|
lol this reporter dude "Spark Brushel" is awesome, he has such hilarious expressions. I actually laughed out loud for a couple minutes when I first saw him.
and wtf is that a toothbrush or something that he keeps rubbing all over his head? and his head looks like a brush too...
I was stuck for like half an hour trying to find Brushel's nervous twitch. It was obvious which statement it was on, but the twitch was so subtle and hard to notice that I had to give up and look in a walkthrough to find it (probably also because I played outside and the daylight outside made it impossible to notice the sweat appear on his shirt).
Well, it looks like the real murder weapon has been discovered, now if only we could find the letter that Drew mailed things might start to make sense.
Gavin brings up a good point, if that stamp was the murder weapon, then there's no way Drew could have fell for it... or is there? I had trouble figuring this out at first, but I could see what Apollo was getting to when he said Drew wasn't the real forger. I immediately came to the conclusion that Vera had to be the forger, and that letter from 7 years ago was addressed to her, that way Drew wouldn't have known about the poisonous stamp. That means Drew was murdered accidentally from whoever sent that letter 7 years ago.
I guess Vera suspected it was poisonous but never told her father... I can't imagine why, I mean aren't they working together in their forging business or something? If anything this only makes Vera more of a suspect, since she knew about the stamp but didn't tell him.
Anyway the jury is out right now on this one. I don't think it's possible to solve any of this until we find the letter that Drew mailed out. I'm positive that letter is the key to finding out who the murderer is.
Oh yeah and then there's the letter from Zak Gramarye... no idea what that's about but I'm sure it will be important to this case in some way.
Vera seemed weird at first but she's an awesome character once you get used to her mannerisms... it's so cute how she always draws a happy face to say yes and a sad face to say no.
Okay now this is getting pretty dumb. Vera's basically a professional forger that can forge anything from paintings to fingerprints. Vera didn't know the stamp was poisonous, she just kept it because she liked it, it had a picture of her favorite magicians... yes now this is starting to come together. Her first forgery was a page in a book...
Wow, Gavin seems pretty pissed for some reason, he's even asking about stuff that's not directly related to this case... uh, what? ooookay... yes this certainly connects Phoenix's case 7 years ago together with the current case quite well. so am I to assume that the one who got Vera to forge the evidence was Phoenix himself? I'm not believing that. it must have been someone else... Anyway now to find out who...
what... *Vera suddenly drops dead*
w... *she was somehow poisoned during the trial*
what... *she isn't dead*
the fuck... *is suddenly playing a game of poker*
is going... *talking about someone I killed*
on... *Phoenix is talking to that Gramarye guy*
...and I'm suddenly confused as fuck again...
I don't know what's going on, but now apparently I'm Phoenix Wright and I'm playing the trial from 7 years ago.
