|Episode 2: Turnabout Corner - Investigation part 2 recap|
Assuming Stickler's testimony was accurate, it's pretty obvious that the real killer shot Miraktis from the side while he was looking straight ahead at Wocky, and Stickler only saw Wocky standing there holding a weapon and came to that conclusion. Although I don't know how the killer could've been there and not be seen by Stickler or Wocky, but I'm sure the game will come up with some explanation for it.
At this point, unless a new character will introduced all of a sudden I was pretty sure the killer had to be Alita. I know it couldn't be the any of the Kitakis, and I could tell Eldoon wasn't the "villain" type, and other than that who else was there? Alita definitely seems suspicious now that I think about it, a little too innocent, kinda reminds me of Dawlia. I had guessed from the beginning that she wants to marry Wocky in order to gain power in the mob, but then I thought they wouldn't make it that simple. Now that she's refused to describe how she and Wocky met, it's pretty much confirmed that there's more to her.
Wait... Eldoon was a doctor, and Meraktis was his rival? Suddenly the game is trying to make me think Eldoon had a motive and could've been the killer... hmm.
... got stuck at this part and had to look in a walkthrough. I hadn't even thought of the slippers having a toeprint on them. Oh look now I'm examining shoeprints... yeah this isn't tedious at all. lol Ema you and your wacky science gimmicks.
It looks like I need another pair of shoes now... *goes into the Meraktis clinic* oh there we are, and it has a toeprint too. Women's sandal = Alita's toeprint = most likely the toeprint on the sandal = Alita's the killer. anyway moving on...
Now someone (maybe Alita?) broke in and took something from the safe, most likely evidence. Though why Alita wouldn't also take the papers with her name connecting her to Meraktis I don't know... and I'd have to take a total shot in the dark as to why the broken lamp and the bullet are important (haha get it)
Ooh more clues about Phoenix's past... and some of this dialogue is kind of subtly suggesting that Trucy might not be Phoenix's real daughter... beh that's dissapointing.
Wait, so Klavier was prosecuting since he was 17? I guess he's just been going back and forth between his band and prosecuting or... whatever.
holy shit @ Eldoon's noodle hair being a wig. plot twist of the century right there!
now I'm at the next part of the trial...
