|Episode 2: Turnabout Corner - Trial part 1 recap|
The first witness is such a gigantic loser, holy shit. I hope he isn't the villain cuz that would be really lame.
So, Trucy was helping Phoenix to cheat at poker with her special sensing power, and Apollo has this power too but it comes from his bracelet... uhhhh WTF. This is getting even more ridiculous than the magatama stuff. Maybe in future trials I'll be able to call out the witness's habits on my own somehow without it Trucy guiding me through all of it? I don't know how that'll work.
also, Trucy creating that fake kidnapping out of nowhere surprised the fuck out of me. I have a feeling she'll be pulling insane stunts like this a lot.
Wow, my opinion of Stickler has changed drastically.. I mean, he seemed so boring and lame, but then you find out he's actually the panty-snatcher and now his character suddenly becomes hilarious. all that "I must discover the secrets of these panties... in the name of science" stuff was XD-worthy.
The PW games were never this consistently funny before. Even when it tried to be funny it often failed. It almost seems like they have some people writing the jokes for Apollo Justice who are a lot better and aren't relying so much on internet catch-phrases.
Is it just me or is Trucy doing most of the work in this trial? I guess she's learned a lot from her dad so she might be a better defense attorney than Apollo at this point in the game.
Klavier doesn't seem all that aggressive in prosecuting, I mean he hardly ever objects, he doesn't keep anything up his sleeve to surprise on us and he just all around doesn't care that much about getting a guilty verdict. His style kinda reminds me of Godot, just letting the defense do all the work and objecting to any obvious mistakes you make.
Onto the 2nd day of investigation...
