I got stuck on 3-7, those large shield-wielding enemies plus some really hard hitting enemies in a really difficult stage layout... I tried several different teams and still couldn't beat it. I guess now it's time to go back to world 2 and do all the challenges/chests there. This desert/snow world is quite confusing... I thought I went through all of it, but then after clearing all 10 challenges I was still missing 7 chests. All of the world 2 challenges weren't that hard, but were noticeably harder than world 1's challenges.
Then I went through again and found an area I hadn't explored yet, and also found the puzzle to unlock the secret chapter.
This new Rabbid Luigi weapon I unlocked has a really great design.
Just now found the place where you can replay earlier chapters to try and get a gold on them... this seems pointlessly easy though, since you'll obviously be overpowered due to the weapon upgrades by the time you go back to attempt the gold trophies that you missed... I think a much more interesting challenge would be to start a new file and try and get a gold on every stage the first time through.
World 3 screenshots part 3
Even after clearing everything in world 2, I'm still not that much more leveled up, and 3-7 still was quite a challenge. Peach and Rabbid Mario turned out to be a good team choice since they have a bunch of explosive area attacks to get around these enemies' defenses.
3-8 was mostly just an easy "get to the end" battle, and then a laser mirror puzzle that activates the clock tower so that it opens up the shiny gate... It took me a little bit to actually find that shiny gate again to get to the boss.
lol this boss is amazing. Even after the cutscene, he keeps singing while the battle is going on, taunting you and stuff. Also by sheer coincidence, I happened to have both Mario and Peach on my team at this point, and the phantom guy's song is about trying to tear Mario and Peach apart.

World 4 screenshots part 1
World 4 looks likely to be the last world in the game, not counting the DLC. The set pieces in this world are really good too. It's like a badly constructed volcano fort. It's clear that Bowser Jr. runs this place...
4-1 was easy, just fighting against normal ziggy enemies with a different look, which I guess is how each world usually starts.
