4 missile expansions, 1 UA expansion, and 2 energy tanks found so far... out of however many there are in the game.
Woah, this room the ship lands in is huge... there's a very long drop down to the bottom, with ice platforms floating all around...
Looks like the only way to go is through the door at the bottom. There's actually not much to this big room, besides a pathway to get back up, and a few scans.
Encountered Noxus, the hunter that wields the Judicator, which is basically an ice beam... the cutscene showed what looked like Noxus fighting another hunter, a red one... but then he turned to fight Samus instead. Then to get out of this room there's a puzzle where you have to scan all the circuits and then fight some Barbed War Wasps. This room is kinda confusing... an outdoor space with a bunch of indoor hallways connected to it... there's a grey door to the left corner from where I came in, and a purple door on the opposite corner on the upper level from where I came in... The grey door is sealed until you find the artifact in this room, and that is sealed until you find the shield key in this room, and that is sealed until you find the 6 scannable switches in this room...
Then another similar room with some complex verticality and platforming to it... and there's also a timed morph ball platforming challenge to get the purple beam, the Judicator... Going back through the rooms with that beam, I found an overhead morphball maze leading to the last artifact... I also found a bunch of UA expansions, a couple missile expansions, and a couple more energy tanks in this whole area.
omg that boss was ridiculous... also extremely lazy. it's just a harder version of the 2nd area's boss, with turrets and a lot more firepower and a LOT more health. wtf I almost wonder if there's some strategy I could've used to make it go by faster. When the eye is open, it's moving around so fast that I can't hit it with anything but uncharged power beam shots, and even then it's sometimes hard to hit. I think this boss alone took me like half an hour. It wasn't hard, because of some of the projectiles being things you can destroy for health and ammo, but holy shit it took way too long.
Our people are gone, yet we remain...
On the way back, Samus gets attacked by Trace, the cloaking hunter with the Imperialist weapon, which has precision targeting.
