|on season 4 now... this has the Itchy & Scratchy movie episode... and the one where Marge gets a job at the powerplant and Bart experiences "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"... |
then there's this one... a single mom and her teenage daughter move into the neighborhood... one of the gifts the Simpsons gave them was a porn movie, meant for the man of the house which turns out to be the mom... Bart befriends the girl and really likes her because of how "cool" she is.. she even embarrasses/out-bullies Bart's bullies.. then when Homer needs to find a new babysitter to replace the previous one that Bart traumatized, the new neighbor sends her daughter to take the job.. so now Homer and Marge can go pig out on seafood. Homer fails at tiptoe-ing around the fact that this woman is single, and offers to help her find a new husband.. Bart then goes to ask his grandpa and dad for romance advice... suddenly Laura shows up outside Bart's bedroom window at night.. brings him out to the treehouse just to tell him she got a boyfriend, Jimbo Jones...
meanwhile, Homer is trying to sue the restaurant for not letting him have all he can eat.
"Let me show the court just how many shrimp this person ate"
"18 thousand letters, all addressed to Santa Claus... oh wait you guys want the courtroom next door"
Bart tells Moe: "My name is Jimbo Jones and I live at..."
Barney: "Huh... somebody spilled beer in this ash tray! Gotta take care of that"
next one is Mr. Plow... also the cheap lawyer guy and Troy McLur are in a LOT of the episodes this season i've noticed.. I dunno why they never reused so many of these older characters... (or have they recently? I dunno, last time I watched recent simpsons it was all about using only the most popular characters and celebrities, never anything else)
"We won't miss a minute of school thanks to your father."
"Say your prayers, plow boy!"
"Can't sleep, clown'll eat me"
"Oh boy, liver! Iron helps us play!"
"Since we returned your 2nd born, think you can see your way to returning my TV tra-" "slam"
